Industrial Development Model
Excel-Parity Decision Studio
Overview
Rebuilt an industrial real-estate development Excel workbook as a TypeScript web app whose deterministic financial engine matches the source model cell by cell.
Highlights
- 01
Built a pure TypeScript engine for land bank, construction, lease-up, vacancy and market share across 20 markets and 21 years (2027–2047), matching 420/420 market-projection cells and all 105 project columns within 1e-4 in a Vitest parity harness.
- 02
Completed the returns layer the workbook left blank (IRR, NPV, MOIC, yield-on-cost) and documented fixes for template bugs, such as an HLOOKUP keyed on calendar years that assigned year-21 costs to every project.
- 03
Added scenario comparison, sensitivity sweeps with tornado charts, live narrative summaries, input guardrails and URL-compressed sharing in a client-only SPA with zero production npm audit vulnerabilities.
